Tessa has been a registered nurse since 2010 and currently practices at a large hospital in Texas. She specializes in neurovascular progressive care and has a specialty certification in progressive care nursing (PCCN). She has experience with geriatric populations with neurovascular ailments and other various medical conditions. As a trained educator, she stays up to date on current research and evidence-based practices for nurses.
Tessa is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses. She graduated from Aspen University with a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Nursing Education. She also graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing and the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and English. When not practicing clinical nursing, she spends time contributing as a content and academic writer for various companies. She is passionate about nursing and helping those affected by medical aliments live fulfilling lives.
