Georgia's Aging and Disability Resource Connection is a network of service-oriented organizations throughout the Peach State that work together to solve issues related to aging and disability. The state's ADRC coverage is split into 12 regions; Empowerline is the Atlanta Region's designated area agency on aging. Empowerline connects seniors with programs, services and resources from more than 20,000 providers. The organization's ultimate goal is to equip older adults with information to make solid, educated decisions about long-term care.

Marietta's First United Methodist Church has hosted Enrichment of Life Movement's noncredit courses since 1984. Enrichment of Life Movement is a nondenominational nonprofit organization that holds college-like courses for individuals ages 50 and older. Once known as Cobb Community Transit, CobbLinc is Cobb County, Georgia's dedicated public transportation agency. Operated by the Cobb County Department of Transportation, CobbLinc offers a total of 14 fixed-route bus schedules, with standard fares ranging from $2.50 to $5. CobbLinc's Transportation Voucher Program subsidizes 90% of seniors' transportation costs, paying just $10 for $100 voucher books. The public transportation agency also provides paratransit service, taking seniors anywhere within a mile of its existing service areas.

Funded by a Department of Housing and Urban Development grant, the city of Marietta's Housing Rehabilitation Program funds residential home improvement projects for low-income homeowners ages 62 and older, including HVAC replacement and electrical rewiring. To pass eligibility requirements, applicants must have lived in their current homes for at least three years. Qualifying applicants may receive either a one-time grant or a 20-year forgivable loan worth as much as $10,000.
