A legal aid provider with four offices in the region, Blue Ridge Legal Services, Inc. offers advice, brief services and representation to low-income people. It can help eligible seniors prevent evictions or foreclosures and remain in their homes. It also offers assistance with other civil legal problems, such as debt collection, bankruptcy, Medicaid and financial exploitation.

This nonprofit corporation offers affordable paratransit services in the Greater Roanoke Valley. Eligible seniors can book rides on its Valley Metro service to reach destinations in Roanoke.
