The Saginaw Community Action Center offers a variety of services to older adults who live at home. Its Elderly & Disabled Home Repair Program provides repairs to roofing and gutters, electrical work, plumbing, flooring, drywall and heating and air conditioning units. It may also provide door and window replacements and add handicap-accessible features. Its Weatherization Program provides free weatherization services to income-qualifying individuals. The center also administers the Medicare/Medicaid Assistance Program, which helps qualifying seniors obtain extra help from Medicare to pay for prescription drugs.
