SeniorAdvice.com Announces Fall 2019 Scholarship Winner
The recipient has been chosen for the Fall 2019 $2,000 Caregiver Scholarship
AUSTIN, Texas -- SeniorAdvice.com, a leading resource for housing solutions and advice for seniors, has named the winner of its Fall 2019 student scholarship contest. SeniorAdvice.com offered a $2,000 scholarship to students enrolled in a college or university for the Fall of 2019 academic semester to help honor those who give back to the elderly community.
The SeniorAdvice Caregiver Scholarship was open to eligible students who have been a caregiver for an adult relative. The Fall 2019 winner is: Kisha Gray who is attending Dyersburg State Community College.
The scholarship was open to students attending a two or four-year college or university in the Fall of 2019. Applicants were asked to answer several questions to complete the application, including: what they learned from their experience as a caregiver or volunteer, and a valuable piece of advice they received from their aging loved one.
"We're aware that there are many deserving senior caregivers out there. The winner was chosen based on their caregiving circumstances, their positive attitude towards the situation, financial need and their desire to continue to better their communities through their education and beyond," said SeniorAdvice.com CEO and Founder, Ryan Patterson.
