SeniorAdvice.com Announces Spring 2020 Scholarship Winner
The recipient has been chosen for the Spring 2020 $2,000 Caregiver Scholarship
AUSTIN, Texas -- SeniorAdvice.com, a leading resource for housing solutions and advice for seniors, has named the winner of its Spring 2020 student scholarship contest. SeniorAdvice.com offered a $2,000 scholarship to students enrolled in a college or university for the Spring of 2020 academic semester to help honor those who give back to the elderly community.
The SeniorAdvice Caregiver Scholarship was open to eligible students who have been a caregiver for an adult relative. The Spring 2020 winner is: Brynn Browning who is studying to receive her Master's degree from the University of Virginia.
The scholarship was open to students attending a two or four-year college or university in the Spring of 2020. Applicants were asked to answer several questions to complete the application, including: what they learned from their experience as a caregiver or volunteer, and a valuable piece of advice they received from their aging loved one.
"We're aware that there are many deserving senior caregivers out there. The winner was chosen based on their caregiving circumstances, their positive attitude towards the situation, financial need and their desire to continue to better their communities through their education and beyond," said SeniorAdvice.com CEO and Founder, Ryan Patterson.
