My Mother-in-law (with Alzheimer's) was there two weeks and received a broken hip. It either wasn't recorded in their records or they wouldn't allow us or Hospice to see it. I was there at lunch time and she was served half a peanut butter and honey sandwich, a small scoop of pudding and a cookie. I was there again another day at dinner time. There were seven residents. Staff cooked one small frozen pizza to feed all seven people along with another scoop of pudding and a cookie. Going to see her room we noticed a slide lock on the outside top corner of her door. We learned from a staff member that she was locked in her room to keep her in there at night. She would bang on the door or walls every day to be let out. Her left hand and wrist had deep purple bruises from her pounding on the door. Multiple times there to visit there was only one staff member. Occasionally there might be two. This is by far the worst place she's ever been in and wouldn't recommend you to put anyone you care about there. She was sent there by the nurse at Life Care Center of Andover who just happened to be the director of the only Physical Therapist company they would use. Conflict of interest? One star is the least it would let me choose otherwise it would get zero.
