I was unable to walk while recovering from surgery, The physical therapist was great. Always on time, I felt like he guided me through a good workout each time, enough without overdoing it, and describing the exercises to my family members so they could help me on the days he didn't come. The nurse who came was able to do some things but was poor at others, and blamed me for her not being able to get the drop of blood she needed from fingers. Not one could she get the blood by sticking my finger tips only once. One day, she had to stick all five fingers on might hand. The next time, I asked her to use the left had because the fingers on my right hand were more painful than my surgical incision. She complained that she couldn't get the drop of blood because she didn't know that both of my hands had arthritis even though she had had a chance to see them each day she was at my house, complained that there was a power cord on the floor preventing her from getting a drop of blood from my finger somehow. I do appreciate that she put back a blanket over me before she left. That was nice, but she clearly needs more training on how to get a drop of blood from a finger, or maybe the equipment needs to be recalibrated. In any case, it's inappropriate to blame me for her inability to do a job that no one else has been unable to do with me after other surgeries.
