Dear Atria Family,Yes, I said family because that is what you become to Aunt and to me. I prayed and searched for the perfect place for Aunt when I faced surgery, a place where the staff was warm, caring, professional and the facility itself clean, bright and had a feeling of "home". God answered with the Atria. Sales Director was so kind, patient and helpful through many visits, phones calls and the move.Once Aunt was settled, she quickly become involved in the wonderful activities offered. Engage Life Director and Program Director always reached out to make sure Aunt was included in the activities that she was able to do.Receptionist were gracious beyond measure in allowing Aunt and me to duo call for an hour each day. COVID kept us physically apart but the girls gave us a chance to be together each day.Nurse is amazing and was a true blessing. I don't know how she does what she does. She is so knowledgeable and skilled and goes far beyond the call of duty to provide the best care for the residents and help the residents family. The med techs were always there to provide care and answer questions.Our thanks go also to all the wonderful caregivers, the chefs, the cleaning and the maintenance crew for their hard work. A special thanks to the Maintenance Tech who brightened each day with a greeting.Again, I thank Atria for making Aunt's last year on this earth a happy one. She always thanked me for choosing the Atria. She felt it was the perfect place, a place where she felt like a queen, where everyone lovingly met her every need. She loved and appreciated all of you, as do I. You will always have a special place in the hearts of the Schulz family.Lovingly,Val
