Bel Air at Teravista

Horrific and endangering to elders. Let an 88 year old hip replacement patient fall 2 times and refused to take extra measures for 3rd night to prevent a fall. Dried feces on toilet AND never took action on poop filled gloves in toilet for hours. Horrible staff, condescending interactions with family members.

After breaking a hip and having it repaired at St David's Round Rock she was sent to Bel Air. First impression--place looks like a museum with art work everywhere, sculptures inside and outside, and hall ways named for parts of Texas.Family will only get one phone number and that is to the front desk. When you call and ask how is therapy going they don't have a clue and give you no help at all in contacting the physical therapists. I was finally able to get the nurses station after telling the front desk what room my wife was in--giving them her name didn't help. Every time I called the nurses station to ask how is PT going I got the standard canned response "I don't know but she ate all her breakfast" The only way to find out wife's status was to arrive when she was getting PT and talk to the therapists.My wife has been in and out of rehab for 22 years since her stroke. Bel Air at Teravista is absolutely the worst. Go someplace else. Anyplace else

The place looks nice but the but the staff is untrained.
