My grandma was here for under 24 hours after being released from memorial after having her hip replacement surgery. The first morning there she fell out of her wheelchair and we were notified. I arrived there to find her completely out of it, incoherent and slurring but they said she’s responsible for herself. She didn’t even know where she was so clearly not reasonable. It turns out they didn’t give her any insulin and she is a type 1 diabetic. I insisted that we call 911 and she was sent to the ER. The doctors said this was completely avoidable. Do not send your family here if they need any assistance.

My Mom fell this morning and the nurse called to tell me that my Mom's ego was bruised. (very unprofessional)My Mom is only functioning at 25%. They have stopped therapy based on the fact the insurance company will not pay. The Bridge staff has told my Mom she must leave tomorrow as they can't justify to Medicare keeping her there. I asked Miranda if my Mom can file an appeal so that she can stay a few more days and Miranda said my Mom missed the date to file an appeal therefore if she wants to stay a few more days she will have to pay $580 up front. I am my Mother's power of attorney and I was not informed about the appeals date. This is not a professional way to do business or treat a senior citizen. My Mother doesn't feel medically fit to leave the Bridge. Why shouldn't she be allowed to stay until she sees the Orthopedic Surgeon which is this Friday and let him release her?
