Carolina Rehab Center of Cumberland

A friend of mine has been at your facility since June, 2020 to recover from back surgery. Its February, 2021 and he has still not received any physical therapy! He is getting atrophy in his legs and fears he will be crippled. Your Covid excuse is a poor response to his needs. He is desperate to get out of there and noone is helping him. This is ABUSE! This needs to be addressed immediately or there will be consequences ! Immediate action must be taken. What is your response?

Although I have had some previous concerns with some questionable behavior with a few of the staff members at Carolina Rehab as soon as I addressed those concerns they were adhered to, and some of those issues are currently being addressed. My thanks go out to Susan, the Director of Nursing, she is quick, effective and hands-on, once she is aware of an issue. The receptionists, both Asia and Donna give excellent customer service. A couple of the nurses April and McKenzie stand out too, they have listened and responded to our needs. Jamie in Physical Therapy was our first therapist and she is an exceptional asset to the facility. Recently, Nicole in Occupational Therapy has stood out, her smile and expertise has been very helpful. I am currently in touch with Heather, one of the Social Workers, and she has been eager to assist with our concerns and issues. Also, I would like to give acknowledgements to two of the aides, Shay and Maria, they show compassion and a love for the work that they do. If I left someone out it was not intentional I am currently pleased with the staff at Carolina Rehab and I highly recommend this facility to the community.
