Coronado at Stone Oak

I’m writing this bad review because I would like to spare a loved one the nightmare my family went through.My Dad had a stroke Nov.11 and was told by hospital he needed rehabilitation for his stroke and Alzheimer. If you listen to Coranado recorded message it specifically says they specialize in Stroke rehabilitation. We were limited visits to see my Dad, but every time we visited my Dad it was a very discussing visit. He laid in feces, it was in his carpet, toilet was covered with feces, and his shower was covered in feces. My Mom told the Cna, and the nurse of this problem. They stated it will be cleaned that afternoon. I visited my Dad two days later and I checked to see if the feces was cleaned up. Not even touch???? So I asked it to be cleaned up immediately. So house cleaning was called and they argued with about the feces in the carpet. Stating that it was food, and another Cna said it was meds that was spelt.The thing is my mom watch them change my dad and saw the feces fall on the carpet. This is just one very discussing ordeal we had at Coranado. The Cna’s that brought my dad his meals never helped him up to eat or assist him getting milk carton open or plastic off his cereal bowl.My dad had rehabilitation two times out of a 22 days he was there. When should have had rehab at least 3 times a week. We were told we would get a update on my dads rehabilitation at less once a week. Never got a call once on his process???? The case worker that reach out to me once out of 22 day stay.We had to make an appointment each time we visited my dad. Well, they never answered phone. Or if you got someone they would put us on hold or just hang upon us.I tried to get progress reports from the nurse station and it would just ring and ring. When I decided to take my dad out of this horrible place.I started getting calls from everybody that was supposed to be calling us with reports on my dad.Got a call from Medical administrative the night before my dad was leaving Coranado. Asking why I was just letting them know about the problems we had with Coranado. So I let her know I had told case worker, nurses, Cna. The other reason is you couldn’t get through to speak to anyone.I ask the Medical Administrator why they state on their phone recording that they specialize in stroke rehabilitation. Her response was my dad should have been in different stage of stroke rehabilitation. Which is why my dad got not one thing good out of the facility. Please take this serious if your even thinking of putting a loved one who needs rehabilitation in this very difunctional facility. I WOULD NOT DO IT????
