BY FAR THE WORST PLACE IVE EVER SEEN THE WAY THEY TREAT PATIENTS IS UNBELIEVABLE MY FRIEND IS IN THERE AND LESS THAN 24 HRS OF HIM BEING THERE HE HAD FALLEN OFF HIS BED. ALSO THEY MADE US STAND OUTSIDE IN 115 DEGREE HEAT AND YELL AT HIM THRU A BEDROOM WINDOW TO VISIT HIM.PLEASE IF U CARE FOR UR FRIEND-FAMILY MEMBER DO NOT SEND THEM HERE... OH AND I HAVE BEEN CALLING THE FACILITY TO TALK TO MY FRIEND AND THEY JUST PICK UP THE PHONE AND HANG UP ON ME AND THIS IS GOING ON ALMOST A WEEK THEY HAVE DONE THIS.

My mother was transferred to this facility yesterday as a long term care patient from Banner University Hospital. When I went to see her that evening she was lying in the farthest bed in the corner of a three bed room. The noise in the room from the other two TV's was so loud that I couldn't hear what she was trying to say to me. Some sort of liquid had been spilled all over her bedside table and had formed a puddle on the floor by the bed; no one had cleaned it up. Her call light was draped over the other side of the table where she could not reach it to call for help and there was no water or anything at bedside for her to drink. The halls at this facility are narrow, dark and loud; with nurses, CNA's and patients all talking at once and TV's blaring out of rooms. The place smells awful and since there is a smoker's patio just off the small dining room, so that every time the door is opened the dining room and the hall smell of smoke. I asked if I could have a chair to sit in while i visited my mom and they brought me a chair from the dining room. The chair was so filthy that I was afraid to touch it, let alone sit in it. Needless to say I had my mother transferred out of there this morning. My advice is do not go near this place.
