My mother recently had a stay there at their rehab facility and i would never recommend this place to anyone. she was there for a little over 3 weeks with a fractured tibia of the left leg and they didn't wash her or give her a shower the whole time she was there. the care she received was minimal and the facility is taking advantage of the covid restrictions and doing the bare minimum for patients because their family members cant check up on the care being given to their loved ones. because of their bad care of my mother she would up with cellulitis in both legs and a fungal infection on her stomach. if you care about your family do not put them in this place.

Staff is horrible. There is blatant neglect going on and when you try to report it you get ignored. Needs to be investigated immediately.

My mom came to rehab here on Feb 5 2019 after being in the hospital for 2 weeks due to a UTI that had turned into septicemia. I personally witnessed the call button not being answered for at least 20 minutes on 3 occasions, one of which was over 45 minutes long, and ended solely because I went to fetch the nurse myself. Shortly after being admitted Mom fell out of the wheelchair trying to go to the bathroom by herself. She told me they never answered in a timely manner when she had to go to the bathroom, so she ended up peeing on herself and sitting in a wet diaper for hours on end. One night she called me at home saying she had been waiting almost one hour and no-one was coming to help. I called the aides office myself, the phone rang for over a minute and I was hung up on. Also, residents who soil themselves during lunch or dinner are not taken to the bathroom until after the lunch/dinner hour is done. If you go there towards the end of lunchtime you can smell excrement and urine as soon as you enter the cafeteria area. My complaints to the social worker, aids supervisor and nursing staff fell on deaf ears and were never officially recorded - contrary to what I was told they would do. This on-going neglect caused my Mom to experience 2 more UTIs while at Edna Tina Wilson. The second one proved fatal as it ended up poisoning her blood again. She was re-admitted to Unity on March 18 and died March 20. Septicemia is her official cause of death. So, in the end she died of the very thing she came to ETW to recover from. One would expect extremely good care for over $14000/month. This truly is death's antechamber made to look like a 4 star hotel. I would not send my worst enemy there.
