The therapists (Physical Therapists and the Occupational Therapists) and nurses that come to your home are SUPERB! They are knowledgeable, reliable, caring and concerned. My elderly handicapped mother, who also demonstrates episodes of dementia, responded well to them. They will do all within their power to help with the care, well being and progression of your loved one. The owner is excellent and highly ethical. He handled a concern I had immediately and fairly. He will extend himself to listen to and address concerns and to make matters RIGHT. I highly respect that. I recommend this company.

My 93-year-old father had a Home Health nurse from Greatland for the first time ever after a hospital stay back in May 2020. Her name was Becky (Rebecca) and she was wonderful. She listened to my dad, gave him time to voice his concerns/questions, advocated for him for additional blood tests, contacted his GP to update and was overall just a lovely human being. Plus she was meticulous about cleanliness, so very important during a pandemic, washing her hands, wearing a mask, cleaning all equipment. At first she visited 2x a week, then down to 1x/wk. She visited for two 6-week periods. She would text if she was running late, text to ask if she could come earlier or later, was very respectful of my dad's schedule, even though we weren't going anywhere during quarantine!! He'll be going in for a procedure in the end of Oct and we will be asking for her by name for his aftercare. Thank you Nurse Becky for all your kindness and attentiveness to my father's health care!

By far one the worst company I have ever worked for. I don't even know where to start. How about we start with management. The owner of the company is shady as hell and only cares about lining his pockets. The quality of patient care is not a concern. He holds no value for nurses and I have heard him say "we'll just hire another one" he cannot be trusted. He does not care about his employees and nurses are replaceable and he makes it known. Next, the director of nursing cannot be trusted! That is all I will say about that bottom feeder. On to the clinical managers.. they both sound like they need to take antidepressants..mono tone no emotion and sound like they cannot stand their job. One is actually good at what he does (no issues) the next thinks she knows everything and will micro manage you to the point where sticking a fork directly in your eyeball sounds more appealing than dealing with her. When you ACTUALLY need something done she will pass the buck and/or make you do-it-yourself. SHE IS USELESS. In less than 7 months of working with the company I have had to deal with 3 different DON'S, 2 HR managers, 3 different clinical managers, 1 secretary, 2 different people in charge of supplies, 3 different people in charge of payroll. I have not received weekend pay for ANY of the weekends worked, I have not been reimbursed for parking, they do not have proper PPE but will expect you to care for covid patients....the list goes on. Instead of a raise they try to cut your pay and blame it on Medicare reimbursement. The have one pending law suit and multiple threats from angry employees whos paychecks have bounced....if you See this company advertising for nurses run the other way like your a** is on fire! Work for another home health care company ANY home health care company.

Nurses were great. Physical therapists were great. The only problem is they uses Homelink for medical supplies. My nurse ordered some wrong supplies because their ordering interface is bad. I got bandages that were wrong size, hard to remove and some things that didn't apply to my condition. But Homelink charges a ridiculous price to Medicare and you still have to pay a copay. For the same copay you can get better bandages at Walgreens. This is why Medicare will go broke charging $50 to $80 for a box of bandages. My nurse could have been given more help in ordering because she was new. Now I have to pay for wrong supplies. If you look up vgmhomelink.com you will see attitude of founder. It isn't about the patient. If you can, ask the nurse what supplies you can get from Walgreens. It may seem easy to go along blindly until you get the bill from Homelink. My nurse was experienced in wound care. PTs were good with a lot of experience but could only stay for about 40 minutes. Another note: after your initial Physical Therapy, if you need to learn to walk with a walker, you can ask your Doctor to write an order for Home PT in preparation for outpatient PT at a place like ATI. The hours Medicare allocates for Home PT and outpatient PT are in different buckets. You still have the same hours left for outpatient PT after the Home PT
