Highland Care Center

I do have to give highland care staff 5 stars for their dedication, services and care for my mom. I would also like to give them additional credit for their daily automated audio on the status and update of residents and staff there during this pandemic. The staff on the 5th floor, my heart goes out to You guys in making this daily sacrifice! However, I am writing this to give additional and special credit to one main staff, Dane H. She has been so sweet to my mom, and while maintaining facility protocol, she does not hesitate to direct my family and Me in the right direction for assistance. She has always maintain professionalism and respect to my family, and shows willingness to care for her clients, but I can mostly speak of my mom’s care.I thank you all’s t Highland, and I thank you Dane for taking good care of my mom!

By way of introduction, I am Dr. Junior V. Clement (nephew) of Arnold L. Clement who is currently residing at the Highland Care Center in Jamaica, Queens. Prior to moving to Highland, my uncle stayed at another Nursing Home that was truly sub-standard. The purpose for writing this review is to shine the spotlight on the following 5 employees: Bashie, Amsterdam, Dorthy Mascoe, Celsea and Doneil as they were truly outstanding in providing viable insights during the Family meeting that was held on Aug 19, 2019. Subsequently, I don't names of other employees that works on the 6th Floor. However, all of the employees my family and I came into contact with are true professional. During everyone of my visits, employees on the 6th floor continue to smile and are very attentive to my uncle. In closing, Highland have wonderful staff of healthcare professionals that goes the extra mile and their kindness and compassion should not go unnoticed. My hat's off to some true professionals in the Heath care arena!
