My mother was assigned here after her knee replacement surgery. This has to be one of the worst run skilled nursing facilities I’ve ever encountered in my entire life.No one introduced themselves when we first checked in. The person who was supposed to do the paperwork was three hours late coming back from lunch. When she decided to come back from lunch, she rushed my mom through signing paperwork who was on pain medication and not all in her right mind.My mom was supposed to have physical therapy twice a day. She had it once a day or no days. She had to wait an endless amount of time When calling for assistance to get out of her bed to the point that accidents were had, and other people who didn’t work there, such as family, had to help her navigate getting out of the bed and going to the restroom or going to sit in a chair, which we shouldn’t have had to do and is a huge liability issue. There were several occasions when we walked to the desk and several CNA’s were standing at the desk talking but we had called for help and no one had responded within 30 minutes, every single time we called for help.In addition, the facility wasn’t exactly the cleanest place. There was a constant unclean unkept smell in the hallways and we constantly had to call people to wipe sinks, clean floors, empty trash cans, and other things.There’s nowhere for family or loved ones to stay in the room overnight. If you try to bring a blowup bed, they will tell you that the room is no longer a single single occupancy room and it’s now a double occupancy room (say what?!) and they can’t allow blowup beds of any sort to be placed in the rooms with loved ones to stay overnight.My mother was given an incorrect dosage of medication and when she questioned the nurse, The nurse told her no and when the nurse was forced to go back and re-read the correct dosage, the nurse realized she was wrong And then gave my mother the correct dosage of medication. Had this been something that was an overage, this could’ve possibly killed her. In addition, her wound dressing was not changed when it was supposed to be changed. The food there is god awful. There’s no shower or bath tub in the rooms and you have to wait in a line in a hallway to take a bath or shower. My family and I had extremely unprofessional and rude encounters with the administrators and other caseworkers and social workers there.We eventually had my mother transferred out of there to a better rehabilitation facility. But I would not recommend a homeless wet dog with three legs stay one night there.

This place has a beautiful layout within its facility, I've noticed over the past year the decline in service and how unprofessional the staff has become. Observing when I visit my mom, I noticed just recently a family waiting on a tour of the facility while staff members ate lunch and even closed their blinds to their office ( so Unprofessional and inconsiderate), also I've witnessed people trying to pay on the bill of their love ones but instead of taking the payment the staff were busy playing with a baby. As much as people spend for their loved ones to be taken care of seem like there should be more professionalism, consideration, and most of all care for how the facility is ran and the safety of everyone and the needs of the visitors and patients are always met. Being a Professional with a career my mom can not be left alone and I have entrusted her well being to whom I thought would do a great job, I see a decline in care and service, so I'm searching and weighing other options to see that my mother's needs are met to my expectations

My brother and I toured this facility when we were determining a place for my 87 year old Mother to rehab after a quadruple bypass, plus losing her husband, our Dad, after 69 years of marriage, all in the same week. The building and grounds looked inviting and we thought she’d be well cared for here but we were wrong. While nothing major happened, it certainly could have if my brother had not been there constantly as her health advocate to make sure things were done properly and in a timely manner most of the time. Our Mom has complete use of her faculties and knows every medicine she takes and when to take it. The overall attitude of the nurses and aides is nonchalant, they sit around the front desk on their phones or chatting with each other, they don’t really care about the patients, they’re just getting a paycheck. With the exception of one particular nurse who was caring, considerate and kind and the PT and OT who were also kind and supportive. From meds not being given in a timely manner (very important ones) to being spoken to disrespectfully with no sense of compassion, to not seeing the resident doctor in the entire first 2 weeks she was there, I would NOT recommend sending your loved one here unless you can be there 24/7 or afford to hire a sitter, which we did for a lot of the time. It’s a shame you can’t depend on getting quality care for your loved one, especially as much as these places cost. We were so disappointed in this place and she will never go back here.
