Huntsville Manor

Listen...... I'm qualified to write this review, because i've been here as a Resident for 5 plus years, & i know everyone, i'm highly intelligent, i care about people, i'm Transparent, & i don't sugarcoat, or water anything down, i tell it like it is(.) So my experience here is that their are some Great People here, they are very kind, respectful, & will help you at anytime, the only problems that is really going on here is: "The food in the kitchen, The Short-Staffing-"sometimes", & The Higher-Ups-"when it comes to hiring people" A.K.A. "Short-Staffing"-"sometimes" which to my knowledge they are working on that, so it should be corrected soon, but as far as the everyday workers, i Promise they are really Good People, & i mean Everybody, from the Activites Department, to Social Workers, Nurses, CNA's, Housekeepers, Laundry Department, Kitchen-"which they do the best that they can" etc... I mean i have actually saw them go out of their way to help someone, & you don't get that everywhere, but you can count on it here at Huntsville Manor in Tennessee!!!

I have been a resident of Huntsville Manor for about 3.5 years. I had remarkable experience over the weekend. I had just been moved to a different room and my oersonal items were in large trash bags. My CNAs asked if they could help sort out the stuff. Within a few minutes they sorted, and placed the stuff in my closet and storage bins and now my room is so much neater. Thank you CNAs. I love you.

My mother was recently a resident of Huntsville Manor in Huntsville, Tennessee. I would just like to say that all of the staff were exceptional. The nurses, CNA'S, physical therapist and cleaning staff were all very attentive to my mother's needs and mine. The only negative comment that I have about this facility is that the dietary department leaves a little bit to be desired. I spoke with the aministrator about the dietary department and she reassured me that the dietary department was one of her main priorities. Some of the facility has outdated decorating like old floor coverings but they are exceptionally well maintained. The old saying cleanliness is next to Godliness is true. This facility is immaculate. Overall they took exceptionally well care of my mom in her three-week stay I would highly recommend this facility

This place doesn't even deserve a 1 star. I hope I never have to send another loved one there. Someone with a heart needs to take over this place and make a good home for people who has no other choice. It's bad enough they can't be home with loved ones.
