Leisure Vale

This place is understaffed for the amount of residents and the staff doesn’t know protocols of helping elder people nor is this place handicapped equipped. There are no handicap bathrooms for elderly people to safely get in and out of the tubs nor enough room for wheelchairs or medical shower to chairs to properly fit into the bathrooms. There is not a wheelchair accessible van to take the residents to their doctor appointments. They do not provide physical therapy or occupational therapy as stated. They do not have a dietitian making sure you are getting the meals for your illnesses, the food is not very desirable it is mostly cold when you get it, and isn’t good. When you ring your call bell, it takes them over 2 hours to longer to come assist. You have to beg to have your laundry done on the day they say it will done. The person who cleans your room only empties your trash can, you have to ask them to clean the floor, toilet, tub, change your sheets. So if your looking for a place to trust the care of your parent is safe this is not it. Also this place is not secure, the garage door has been broke for years and still not fixed, the doors at night are not locked, only the front door, homeless people have wondered in from the garage or side doors. Stuff has been stolen from the garage. They advertise a dentistry there is not any. They do not recognize when a person is sick until you yourself has to them, big changes need to come here, for this place to be any of what they are advertising.

"LEISUE" ???!! it's rather a "TORTURE"STAY AWAY AND KEEP YOUR LOVED ONES AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!I wish there was 0 star because I think 1 star is way too much for them.I live next door to this place and I've regularly heard their patients yelling for help for hours and no one was coming to their desperate cry for help. We ourselves have called their personnel and told to aid those poor people. There were times when in the middle of the night the crying for help was so bad that we had to call the police.These poor retired people definitely don't deserve this kind of "Leisure"
