Lincoln Meadows Care Center

My husband had fallen and broke #1,2 on his spine due to him be a risk of falling was sent to Lincoln Meadows on Feb 1. He was transported by ambulance only to get there and they wouldn’t accept him because they were short staffed so they transported him back to Kaiser. The next day they took him back to Lincoln Meadows. The first day there he fell but was ok they said. I tried to call and no one ever answered the phone or called me to tell me how he was doing. They didn’t have a case meeting until Feb 8th (without me) the nurse called later in the evening and said he was getting discharged on Feb 11th.I got a ph call from a nurse on the 9th and she said that they found my husband on the bathroom floor between shifts and said he was ok though. Later that evening I got another ph call from a nurse and he had fallen and was being transported to the hospital because he landed on his head. After all the testing and he appeared to be ok he was transported back to Lincoln Meadows. On Feb 11th he was discharged I went to go pick him up he looked horrible he had lost a lot of weight, his clothes were dirty, his shirt had food on it as well as his neck collar. They get him in the car and the nurse said “oh did we tell you he’s Covid positive? I said no I was not notified of that. He had tested positive Feb 8th when they had their case meeting and NO ONE called to tell me. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I feel for those that have to work there. It’s obvious that the owners/management do not give a poop about consumers that are placed there.We got home and within 24 hrs he was back in the hospital with Covid pneumonia. Stay away from this place!!
