Mountview

This was a great place from 2015 until the end of 2016. Then management changed and my mother's care did too. New management all came from another facility and back each other up no matter what they do. Mother was neglected and her health suffered. The Executive Director admitted to me 6 people died in February and I noticed more in the following months. A couple who were friends of mother's died within days of each other. Mother's trip to 2 local ER's had staff admitting that Mountview consistently sends residents there and they are REALLY sick and show signs of neglect. Concerns were repeatly made to the Resident Service Director who never did anything and then blamed his incompetence on his staff, mother's doctor, or anyone else he could think of.....he has since forced the Executive Director out and taken over her job. Employees are afraid of being fired for no reason,....the activities director who had been there 15 years was fired without warning. They are short staffed and employees are overworked and afraid of being fired. The Regional Director called my concerns lies and said if I wasn't happy to move mother somewhere else which eventually I did. Owner of Elmcroft was emailed and never responded. These people only care about filling rooms and making money. I wish there was a minus rating to post. I feel sorry for the residents that are still there and the scared employees.
