Myrtle Terraces

I have never seen so many undesirables running around a parking lot and there is NO security. Without a doubt the management is VERY pushy and VERY demeaning. Staff turnover is ridiculous!The younger crowd who lives here is horrible with the hours that they keep and the coming and going and the doors slamming and closing and the noise through the walls and the ceiling are just enough to make you crazy!There is absolutely nothing peaceful about living at Myrtle Terrace! I am in Myrtle Terrace 1. I hate it!!!Worst mistake I have made in a long, long time!

Very controlling. Rules change every week. Posted on your door. Abusive management that is endorsed by the parent company. Don't complain as you are put on a list. Even talking to corporate and being promised that this is confidential it leaks down to the manager who confronts you in the hallway. After living here for over a year now it has turned into a lockdown. Most stay indoors and are intimidated. All activities are on hold or few participate. The maintenance man quit last november. The activity director took the same path. The cleaning crew for the common areas change every month. Notices posted on the facility kitchen demanding a deposit to have coffee. I could say so much. No posting on billboards without permission. No guests (read you Lease) No getting together as a group in the great room. You are discriminating against others and need permission. We are treated like children. I would not recommend this to anyone. It is sad to see my neighbors retreat and lock the door. But, like me they spent all they had getting in and it is much harder getting out. And management takes advantage of this thru scare tactics. I wish the city of Gainesville Ga. would investigate this. They touted this as the first 55 and older community in the city and a model for the future. Hindsight is a curse. I would leave in a heartbeat and never look back.
