I am a past employee of Parkhaven. Because they are privately owned they do not need to meet staff to resident ratio of other facilities. I saw a lot of resident cares not being met because of short staffing during my time there. Just my honest opinion. Many open pressure sores, residents not being toileted as they should be, residents not able to feed themselves being brought into the dining room where then fed by other residents. No working thermometers on site during the COVID 19 precautions. A thermometer was borrowed from an employee so that temps could be taken accurately.
