I was a patient at PortHealth Care for over 2 weeks in August, 2021 ; and, I cannot say enough about the high quality of their care, professionalism, and kindness. The physical therapy was superb, and resulted in a great recovery after hip surgery. Their Covid protocols were so strict; and, I was tested twice a week, as were all of the staff. In addition, even the food was varied and delicious ! When I left,I felt I was leaving a team that had treated me like family and I still miss them to this day.

I was visiting my mother she rang her call light we waited about 35 min until a rehab assist came in said he get the nurse she then waited another 10 min. When there was 3 nurses sitting behind the desk not one could get up and answer a call light, the nurses there. Don’t lift a finger how wrong is that . A nurse brought my mother to her room. She stated I would like get into bed she said I get a cna to but you to bed what was wrong with her she is a patient but I guess the nurses there Don’t like get there hands dirty. I would not recommend this place to anyone. We taking my mom home in few days thank god The cna are great the nurses are not. The need new nurse that care and don’t mind touching the patients .

My 85 year old mother spent a few weeks at Port Healthcare Center rehabbing after a fall. I have to say that I was extremely impressed. The team working with my mom was fabulous, can't say enough good things about them. Jane the case worker was phenomenal. Communication was excellent. COVID protocols were enforced and everyone was friendly who worked with my mom. She even liked the food which is amazing since she is such a picky eater.
