My husband was here for 3 weeks after knee surgery. The building was functional and beautiful! Coffee was served in the Lobby. The rooms were well appointed, care was professional, the staff courteous, the food good and the Physical Therapy wonderful! We chose to return for outpatient therapy! Excellent place! My sister, Laura Broadstreet passed away at this "place" on June 9, 2019 at 5:30am. At 5:00am she asked for gingerale and a person finally got to her room 304 at 5:30 am! I want to know why it took so long-had someone been on their toes, she may have been saved!!!! Too late now - she's gone. You folks have to live with this. She spoke to the administrator a couple of days before she passed and told them how she was neglected all during the night!! What on earth do you folks do here at night? You can't always use the excuse of understaffed-that seems to always be a favorite response OR I was with another patient!!! Am I wrong? No I don't think so. I spoke with Patty, nursing dir. and advised I didn't have power of attorney, so I immediately called her spouse, Gene, and informed him to call her. Another excuse, well the "team"-what team got there and she was nonresponsive. So how could a "team" get there so quick? Can you answer that? I wish I could put on this computer what I REALLY think of your services and care. Wonder how many other patients have suffered at the hands of this type care?

Poor patient care, poor chance of rehabilitation of patients who are on medicaid/medicare. No respect of patient rights. Severely understaffed. They just want to fill a bed and get the money. They do not care about the patients. I have had situation where staff constantly Intervenes with patients visits with friends and family. When patients request to leave or transfer try to prevent patients from requesting to leave. This is a patient right to leave. They are a neglectful facility. They ignore the request of the patients to go to another facility. They also do not like to be questioned on patient care when you see problems. If you do question care, they carry out an attitude towards your loved one. They are holding my friend hostage in that nursing home. I fear for my loved ones life and well being as long as they are there. If anyone out there can help to get them transferred please let me know. Omsbudsman just goes along with what ever the million dollar facility says. They also manage to visit when things seem to be orderly. Also patient personal belongings always go missing so don't buy your loved one anything that you dont want stolen. It will be.

This place is HORRIBLE. The administrator is the rudest woman I've ever spoken to in my life. The staff here can't keep up with all the patients they have. They are FAR understaffed. At night this entire place has TWO workers. That's it. And if one calls in guess what......Only one person for all these patients. The patients sit in urine and poop. The call lights never get answered. I wouldn't let my dog stay here after seeing how the elderly are treated here. I honestly don't know how anyone who works here is able to sleep at night knowing how they treat these folks. Of course when you call them on it they have every excuse under the sun of why it is ok that they let your loved one sit in urine and poop all day, didn't give them their medicine, didn't answer a call bell for the entire day, etc etc etc. It's nothing but excuses. You will constantly see the nurses huddled in the hall way talking, laughing, texting, playing games on their cell phones, but you won't see them answering that call bell. It doesn't get answered. Period. The ceiling has hang down signs that show what room has the call bell on. When I walked in one night I saw my mom's room was on that sign. She was calling for help. I saw two nurses in the halls with their noses in their cell phones. I saw and heard one old lady crying out for help, literally crying. I would have helped her myself but I was in a rush to get to my mom knowing she needed help as well. I passed by the nurses station and heard the bell going off. Her nurse was sitting there on her cell phone as well. I got in my moms room and she was on the floor. She had gotten up to use the bathroom (tho she was bed bound and not strong enough to get up without help). She said she was trying to make it to the wheel chair that was right by her bed so she could get to the bathroom. Her call bell was lit. No one had answered it (because they NEVER answer it). The Administrator is unprofessional , rude and very condescending in tone. clearly not sure where she came from. But they are probably glad that she is gone. Wont return phone calls, she makes the entire place receive 1 star. PT/OT therapist and general workers are great.
