Regent Care Center Oakwell Farms

I’ll rate it “two star” only for one person who I can call within a specific time period to check on my mother. This person was kind enough to attend the visitation for the loss of our father who was a short term resident there. He BEGGED us to take him home and not stay in this filthy, understaffed facility. There’s so many reasons to include the slop they serve to residents. My mother unfortunately is still there and has been there for two years and My family have to stay on top of EVERY SINGLE DETAIL MULTIPLE TIMES AND EVEN THEN THINGS DON’T GET TAKEN CARE OF FOR MY MOTHER. I’ve shown up at different times and my mother is soaking wet, they don’t change nor do they try to take her to the bathroom. She can’t talk and many times I go there and she’s crying to find her in half attached adult diapers soaking wet and she’s trying to change herself. We’re moving her ASAP because I can’t take the agony of seeing my mother sitting in her pee and god knows how long she’s sitting in her wheelchair in this condition. The Director Bob Kerr is all lip service. I went to see her a week later and her face was bruised with no call of her fall, no report and no one knew anything. After complaining the scarce staff disappears because they don’t want to hear me complaining to try and take care of my mother. They post how they’re a top rated facility but My family and I know the real facts. There are no follow up reports, no quarterly meetings as I’ve learned should be happening from other facilities.
