Rock Creek Health and Rehabilitation

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! After 27 hours of being admitted left with a BROKEN HIP & BRAIN BLEED!! UNDERSTAFFED & VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! After transferring patient to Hospital for said INJURIES Rock Creek NEVER FOLLOWED UP WITH EVEN A PHONE CALL TO CHECK ON THE PATIENT. RUN!!

Fell in love with rock creek! Thought this was the place to put my husband, found out it actually was the worst place! AIDS & AIDS really don’t care how they treat the patients, especially when they are sleeping because of the “sleepy time meds” l asked to cut back on meds but they never did so in the day all he did was sleep the whole 6-8 hrs a day then at nite he would be up all nite. Was asked to get a sitter for him at my own expense that would cost about $900.00 a week needless to say l did not provide one but somehow they did!!! I feel they need to put a nanny can in each room so the administrator can see how bad the aids treat the patients! My husband had to go to the emergency room at 2pm at 6pm he was released but there was no one to pick him up finally at 9pm l took him back to rock creek! Never a thank you or sorry for the inconvenience, if l hadn’t taken him to rock creek we would still be there!!!!! The food is really not good. The care is not good, the DON really does not Carewanted to get rid of my husband, too much work for them. Told me he needed to go to a behavioral nursing home. They said he did not meet the criteria for him to go there. The DON was not happy they would not take him. All that work there should do it because they love this kind of job working with elderly people and not just a pay check. Because of all that l just wrote l would not recommend this place to any one.
