Sanford Health and Rehabilitation

My wife (age 92-marriage 73 years) entered Sanford Health and Rehabilitation on Jan 14, 2021 from REX hospital, Raleigh for speech therapy, Covid-19 tested negative, could speak, mobile in feet & legs, hands & arms, lift limbs, handshake, kiss husband, answer questions, limited swallowing, feeding tube in stomach, died Feb 17 with cause: Acute Respiratory Failure, Pneumonia, Covid-19 virus infection, after repeated denial to family by Rehab of virus symptoms and 28 days of quarantine & isolation (total stay). Was to be released from isolation Feb 9 and meet family Feb 10;on this date comes shuffle back and forth-Rehab to hospital, hospital to Rehab for 3 hours, back to hospital Feb 16, dies on Feb 17 from cause listed. Reason for Rehab was speech therapy. Husband did not see wife during last 34 days of life.

Well the big show is over again. Bring down the curtain.SH&R was warned again by the State of N.C. that they were coming to"INSPECT" so SHR hired a multitude of temporary nurses from an agency in Fayettevile to fill in the gaps . Now that the State is gone its business as usual. No help,and No health care.The Administrator of SHR runs the home like a Nazi prison camp. And guess who the prisoners are? The administrator is very short in stature but rises high above everyone here using his power.Showers aren't given even as dictated by the state. The food is horrible. Beds aren't made up. And doctors orders are ignored. If you want a loved one to die then send them here! The State should be investigated for this atrocity. If four havent guessed,im a patient here.

This place is terrible do not take anyone here. They do not take care of their patients. My mother had to have help to go to the bathroom and it took them 4 hours to take her and they only did it then because I was bitching at them. Well guess what my mom died from Uti which was septic and poisoned her. They couldn't get her blood pressure up. What idiots that work there they are understaffed and just don't give a damn. I am sure those people that work there would not put their family members there. Yes I blame them if they had of taken care of her properly I would still have a mother .
