My Mom has been a resident at Scottish Pines on & off for a couple of years. She now resides on a more permanent basis at this facility. My Mom has some memory loss and often can be confused in regards to days & time. So we want to make sure she’s aware that we still love & care about her & her wellbeing. However, I’ve never encountered the degree of sheer incompetence in transferring phone extensions in order to check on my Mom, as I’ve encountered at Scottish Pines. Especially during this Covid pandemic where visitors are prohibited. You’d think the Scottish Pines staff would make the extra effort to connect people to their loved ones but no, that’s not what happens. We’re often left on hold only to have our calls either rerouted back to where we started or completely disconnected. I can’t express the level of irritation that I experience each time I call to speak with my Mom. It’s totally unacceptable.

Very nice to look at inside and out, but the care does not match the visual quality. Not enough staff. Patient has to wait long time for help.
