Senior Citizens Village

My father in law lives at the senior citizen village says he has asked and put in requests to have minor repairs but nothing has been done no repairs not even a call back. The office staff are rude when he goes in to talk to someone the director comes out and tells him that repair is not important and to get out of the office or move out. Every year his rent goes up with a pro rate charge. Everything on there website is all fails. If I could add pictures I would, security is bad, cars are either broken into or stolen. If the residents try to speak up or complain about an issue they are ignored or given a 30 day notice to move out. It’s roach infested. Even 1star is to much. The city councilman for district 5 Luis Chavez does nothing for the seniors and ignores their calls for help. Rent went from four hundred forty dollars to five hundred and eight dollars. My father in law only gets 847 from SSI after paying he is left with 339 for medication, food and toiletries. I could go on but I hope this will discourage all seniors from moving in this slum lord run apt.

This place is nothing like its YouTube video or it’s pictures on the website!! I have friends and family that live here not to mention I have worked for a few of the tenets there. The repairs take more than 6months before they even try to fix anything! There is a lot of favoritism and NO ONE KNOWS WHO THE OWNER IS OR IS ABOVE EVERYONE TO MAKE A FORMAL COMPLAINT!! The rent goes up at least twice a year and the reason is for “UPGRADES” that never get done. There is only swamp coolers and it’s is not accommodating for seniors when it comes to the bathrooms! They NEED walk in showers not bath tubs!! Not mention that each tents has to maintain their own small garden area and that’s not exactly doable when some of of tents give NO ONE to help them!! The community area or reck room is never open on weekends and closes early during the week! OH and let’s not forget to include that the Maintenance Staff get the luxury of taking their Vacation in Pairs France! Yet the tents have to live in fear of complaining about anything because it has been well know that anyone who complains gets evicted or the living situation became unbearable until the resident decides to move out!! They treat 90% of the seniors that live here as if they have no voice and no value. the staff has no respect or concern for any of the people who live there!! If you truly love and care for your love ones DO NOT SEND THEM TO LIVE THERE!!!

Do not consider moving in this slum roach infested place the office staff are very rude to all the seniors maintenance is slow if you need repairs it will take at least 5 months the director treats and talks to the seniors like low class citizens with no respect your rent will go up every year maintenance on the grounds is poor, the description on the website is all a lie grass is brown dumpsters are always full so please tell your seniors family members not to even consider this place
