If I could rate it zero stars I would. While there are some staff that work there that seem like genuinely good, wholesome, hardworking people. The place itself is garbage. I called to schedule appointments to see my dad and they would never call back. Which the scheduling of appointments to see family members is inconvenient anyway. You can't take your family member out for a walk or eat lunch with them...it's like they're prisoners of the place.They kept my dad past his insurance's ability to pay and then after the fact let us know that he was on private pay and would owe the facility $17,000. They never informed us when his insurance would lapse or anything. In business, you let the customer know that your product or service costs "x" amount and then the customer can decide if he or she wants to pay for it. You don't give the guy a banana and then after he eats it tell him he owes you 17k for eating it. It's bs.I had given my dad well over $600 in cash which I got $350 back. Maybe my dad spent $250+ on ordering pizza while there but I kinda doubt it.My advice, if you can, avoid this place at all costs. I know everything I wrote here looks bad, and it is...legitimately every single syllable is true. If you care for your loved one please don't expose them to this place. It looks nice on the outside, but either people don't care about the mediocrity of the place or they themselves are part of the problem.

I would never recommend Silver Hills for rehabilitation. They are seriously under staffed and staffed by persons under qualified. The resulting neglect has serious consequences for the patients. My wife fell 3 times because the staff members failed to help her to the bathroom after she waited 45 minutes twice. The 3rd fall was due to a female staff member dropping her. This is not acceptable. For this reason I had her discharged immediately and brought her home. Consequently, she was in worse physical shape than when she was admitted. I feel this place needs to be shut down in a timely fashion for the sake of public safety.

I was a patient at Silver Hills recently, recovering from a broken femur. I was supposed to stay 2 weeks, but left after 10 days because I couldn't stand it anymore. I had hoped for intensive therapy: I had an hour in the morning, then 23 hours on my back, not a good recipe for recovery. The daytime staff is all right, some quite good. They are unfortunately understaffed. At night you have problems, sometimes waiting 45 minutes before a nurse comes. And one of them, a man, was very rough.No attempt at washing me was made. I requested a bowl, kept it, and was able to brush my teeth. But for 10 days, not even a suggestion of a sponge bath. No sanitizing wipes were ever offered.Women patients are automatically put in diapers. It’s humiliating and demeaning. Of course, no one ever seems to have the time to take you to the bathroom, though the bedroom has one.

This is the wrost place to put your loved one I hate this place I can’t stand the staff they have no heart for family keeping loved ones away is a disgrace They need to let us visit our loved ones outside as stated in the CMS But no I have one question what’s the difference between your employees going out in the world and going to bars and other places then going in the care for my father then-me being able to visit my dad it’s no different they are more likely to give residences covid19 then me Stop with your lies and let families be together I hope you and your staff can sleep at night cause I know I can’t thinking I may never hug or hold my dad cause you people think your God I have nothing positive to say about this place
