Stay the hell away from here. Air conditioning broken. Heat now broken with portable heaters blowing heat into the ceiling. Elevator broken AGAIN as usual. The administrator here is only here to pick up girls and ignores your presence because he's racist unless he's in front of women and wants to look good to them by acknowledging you as a gentleman. He's an ****. Doesn't know how to run the facility. Also this company Athena Health Care Systems doesn't pay the bills . They'll start an account with one vendor, don't pay them, then go to another one. For example look at the ambulance companies they've gone through!!! Vital, Access , and now we have "National Ambulance"Co!

Has definitely improved in the almost 2 years I've been here, because of new administration. Staff is friendly and attentive they do their best to take care of residents even when they are short-handed.

My 64 year old mother who developed severe dimentia has been neglected and abused by Stourbridge rehab. Stourbridge rehab removed 8 of her teeth did not replace them for 7 months,that is inhumane. All staff are rude, lazy and should not be nurses in the profession of helping people, my mother tried to commit suicide twice, no one even cared to contact me i called all the hospitals to find out where she was. Southbridge rehab is crowded dirty, smells, the food is deplorable. That's the truth of you love your LOVED one DO NOT let them be abused and neglected by this heartless institution

This facility used to be terrific. It has steadily gone downhill and now it's fostering an environment of major safety issues. They have no problem housing psych patients in with defenseless elderly folks, most of whom cannot communicate or speak for themselves. This is a very dangerous practice. I'm surprised the state allows this. There are many other issues including under-staffing. There are numerous complaint on the web confirming the same complaint we have...inappropriate passing of time a patient needs to wait to use the restroom, borderline verbally abusive CNA's (confirmed by other staffers we spoke with), uncaring CNA's who encourage new workers to only do the minimum to "get by", leaving residents sitting in messes for extended times. The physician we witnessed while visiting not only gave me a serious gut feeling and the creeps, he also did the bare minimum while he was there. I know this because I have a background in health care. The food servings have been reduced. There is carelessness going on where residents have been left lying on the floor when they should have been in a wheelchair safely secured with a safety alarm pinned to them. This place is a nightmare. As another family member said on another review from February, if you put your loved one here, you really must not love them very much. I cannot imagine how this place stays in business and why the state allows them to continue doing this. It's very telling when their rating for this location on Open Door dot com is a 51 out of a 100. The other two facilities they own are ranked 53 and a high-40's. Most other facilities in the vicinity of similar capacity are ranked in the upper-80's and 90's. I hate to say it, but I've seen animal shelters run with more care, compassion, and cleanliness.
