St Michael's Senior Housing was descent when my 85 yr old mother moved in 7 yrs ago. In the past 3 yrs, it has gone down considerably due to the new manager. She has been cold & callous to the Seniors' needs. She refused to have activities for them. She also keeps the bathrooms in the lobby locked. Some Seniors have had accidents on themselves in the elevator rushing to their apts to use the restroom. To add insult to injury, the elevator runs very slow. The most inconsiderate thing this manager has done has been that she always parks her car in the driveway which inhibits the Seniors to be picked up in the driveway which is located by the lobby. I've had a difficult time picking my mother up from there on several occasions. My 85 yr old mother has a difficult time walking down that slant from the driveway. I am frustrated by the way she treats these Seniors for they fear eviction because she is a bully.

I had a conversation with a tenant there and was told there is a young couple in their late teens living there terrorizing the other residents there. There are no cameras and the office manager is ignoring the complaints. Those same teens are selling drugs and using one of the units as a drug house. The 71 yr old tenant that lives in that apartment is forced to leave when they arrive and is seen walking the street until he is allowed to enter his home. Once the entry doors were locked and the teens could not get in...they began spitting profanities and threats at the residents that wouldn’t open the door. When the tenants call the police, they say the police arrive 2 to 3 hours after the incident. These people are afraid they will be robbed and/or attacked on the elevator. They are afraid to leave their apartments.
