Tarrytown Hall Care Center

Moved my M-I-L here a month ago. After the two other facilities she’s been in, this is terrific. Caring staff and clean facilities. After being in a horrible facility, we cry with joy after seeing her mental and physical improvement in just a month. Covid has definitely taken a toll on facilities so I understand why reviews during Covid, with short staffing and no visitation are not great. But so far we have had only positive experiences here and are thankful we made the move.

This has got to be the worst nursing home in New York state. Trying to get someone on the phone is like calling the president of the United States. No one returns calls. I have to beg for my mom to get a shower. She can not eat the food because it doesn't stay down. I've been trying to have them send a referral to another facility so I can move her but they keep coming up with excuses why they haven't done it yet. They change Supervisors almost weekly so nobody ever knows whats going on. And they constantly lie to you about your loved ones condition and treatment. The health department needs to get involved before more people die.

This place is HORRIBLE !!! I wish I could give them zero stars! My Mother is currently in this facility for subacute rehab. She called my today at 11am and told me she is still sitting in the diaper they are forcing her to use because they can't be bothered to help her to the bathroom. Since the day they admitted her I have had seriouse concerns and MANY complaints. When I call and ask to speak with supervisiors I'm left on hold for a ridiculous amount of time and then either get hung up on or I'm promised a call back that I NEVER get . My mom tells me the food is disgusting and served cold. The patients are neglected period !
