Taylor Community

Taylor is a wonderful place with great staff and great residents. I saw a review by Mikopaq and that person sounds like a fruitcake that could not be more opposite of what this facility stands for.

I was an 11 year resident of Taylor Community. The Admin tried to force me into Assisted Living against my will. They created and put forth fraudulent medical records and lied to my family. We also discovered and have documented proof that the Care management director and Head Nurse at Woodside unplugged Mom's Lifeline base unit and allowed her medical alert pendant to go into a state of FAILED SUPERVISION for months!! They knowingly recklessly endangered my life. I am lucky to be alive to tell this story today. My best friend died from lung cancer last year and she could not have had better care than she received at Taylor Community. The staff did all they could to make her life as comfortable as possible as she transitioned from independent living to her final days in nursing care. The staff was caring, loving and thoroughly professional.I have lived at Taylor for 2 and a half years and couldn’t be happier. There are more activities here than any one person could do! Music, exercise programs, day trips to interesting places, lectures, free movies, streaming opera and ballet, all levels of exercise, a therapy pool, walking trails on campus, raised bed gardens, and a fire pit. Local transportation to appointments is available, plus regularly scheduled trips to the library and grocery store. If you have a maintenance problem, all you have to do is pick up the phone and someone will be there to help in a short amount of time. Maybe the best thing is never having to mow the lawn, rake leaves or shovel snow ever again!

I just read notaplaceformom.com an updated website linked with thetaylorcommunity.com that details a clear cut case of the attempted homicide by Taylor Community on 95 year old independently living woman. Though there was no direct use of physical violence it was due to their deliberate disconnecting of her Lifeline and mis-dosing of her medications. The proof is all there, check it out before you look at this place or read their misleading website taylorcommunity.org that makes everything sound like it isn’t.

My Mother was almost killed due to their negligence in maintaining her Lifeline. Not only that but her medications were grossly mismanaged by their in house Care Management Team of Hank Offinger and Heather Bell. Had we not removed her I have no doubt she would have been abused further. After submitting false records to her doctor to put her into assisted living we began our own investigation and found a mountain of evidence in the corruption at this so called charitable organization. This facility has flown under the radar by paying off the NH State Insurance Commissioner from intervening in my illegal eviction and Recklessly Endangering my life by unplugging my Lifeline. They're using my hearing Impairment against me to claim cognitive impairment, yet I have and still am functioning Independently all my life. I was forced to move in fear for my safety and am living with my Son where I am safe from their egregious treatment.
