Please do not use this facility for your loved one. My father went to this place on a Friday night, and passed away three days later. He was not taken care of by the staff. On Saturday I went to see him. They had no underwear on him, and he was soaked with urine. He said he was cold. No wonder, the pee was dripping from his gown, even the bed spread was wet. Went to the nurse’s station, and the nurse tried to ignore me. I went to the supply closet myself to get what I needed to clean him, change his bed sheets, blankets, gown , and put adult underwear on him. I threw the wet items in the hall way, and it took over an hour before anyone picked them up. A lot more to tell, but my brother is reporting them to the state. To hopefully help others that can’t help themselves. Not a place for anyone that can’t get out of bed. They should not take new patients if they do not have enough staff. Not fair to the staff or patients. GREED!!!!!!!

Much of the care my mother recieved was "mediocre" at best when certain nurses were on duty. She loved the facility (her home of 2+ years), the aids, the activities staff and many of the nurses. As mothers health began to worsen, it became apparent that my expressed concerns about her rapid cognitive decline and overall condition were not being taken seriously. On two different occasions, very serious life threatening conditions were not addressed until I repeatedly brought obvious signs and symptoms to the medical staffs attention. With only one physician and one nurse practitioner overseeing the care of 100+ patients, I think it safe to say, "the medical needs of many patients are not adequately being met". Sadly, I made the unfortunate mistake of not insisting my mother be taken to an ER for evaluation during her latest medical crisis - she died less than two hour after I left her. If you are seeking quality medical care for your loved one, you may want to look into other facilities.
