The Manor at Seagoville

I am taking this time to write a review to hopefully help whom ever is reading this. Today is 5/25/20. My mom currently lives at The Manor at Seagoville . She has for almost 4 years. My father was there as well for 3 years until he passed away in August from natural causes. If you are reading this , you are probably wondering what kind of facility this place is. Let me explain about myself . I am college educated in the medical field. I am also a business owner as well. I say this so maybe you can trust my opinion. I am very involved in my mother’s life & care I have been power of attorney over my parents for almost 20 years . I trust The Manor at Seagoville with my mother and when my father was alive , him as well . They were extremely compassionate when my fathers time was coming to an end. They call me when they change my mothers medicine. If there is any change in her health , they call me. Olivia , the social worker is and has always been beyond helpful. Tracey is the director of the nursing home and Cory is the Head of Nursing . ...... this is the best team of professionals I have seen this facility have since I was introduced 5 years ago. They are very competent and they communicate . Email them if you want or need anything. Call up there and ask for whom ever you are looking for. I hate to say this but any nursing home is scary and will have their moments of uncertainty. I recommend visiting as often as possible . Make your face known. Be involved. It’s no different if you was dropping your children’ off at a daycare. You need to make surprise visits and reassure yourself you have made a good decision . I wish you peace in this journey.
