The Woodlands at Robinson

OK, first the GOOD, some of the staff were great, the speech therapists, physical therapists, admissions. HOWEVER, the nurse mgr, Shian, was HORRIBLE. & the director backed her. She seemed to say, 'I've done this a million times, get outta my way'. She was rude, nasty, unfeeling, & ARROGANT!! (not to mention DOMINEERING) IN ADDITION.... 1 poor woman in the hallway in a wheelchair, head down to lap, kept saying "Can I have a glass of water? After 4 or 5 times, with no response from 3 women at dest, aides & this nurse mgr. I finally asked someone , can she have some water? & I walked away. A while later, this nurse mgr. went to the woman & told her, YOU CAN'T GO BACK TO BED RIGHT NOW, YOU HAVE TO STAY UP FOR A WHILE. (oh yeah, loudly & nastily). And the woman said, I just want some water. SHIAN said, No, you've been asking to go back to bed. The woman said no, i 've been asking for water. SHIAN AGAIN said, no, you've been asking to go back to bed, i've heard you every single time & you said you wanted to go back to bed. ok, i'll get you some water, but..OMG, AWFUL!!! . & since the director backed her, I WOULDN'T TAKE A DOG THERE!!

I typically don’t write reviews, but I’m extremely dissatisfied with this place. If I could give this place a zero I would. Do NOT send your loved ones here. My family member was placed here, and received terrible care. The nurses there weren’t giving doctor prescribed medicine on time, and they didn’t seem to have a schedule of when pills were to be distributed. When asked a simple question the nurse shrugged, and had a bad attitude. I also agree with some of the other comments on here, it took multiple times asking for anything to be done. We simply asked for the patient to be adjusted to the left, the stna told us of course, and that she would be right back. We didn’t see her again for another hour. In fact, the roommate my family member had told us that the stnas were being rough with him. That’s not even talking about the food yet. The one time I was there during lunch, the stna just plopped the tray down and walked out. The food looked disgusting and was cold.The workers at woodlands don’t seem to care that the residents and family members are going through a stressful time. In my opinion, this place shouldn’t even be considered an option if you’re deciding where to place your family member. I’ll end with a statement given directly by one of the nurses who work at woodlands, “If you don’t think we are taking care of him then just move him!” In the end, my family member was moved, and is now receiving better care.
