The Woodlands of Arnold

I was in your facility the last half of January, 2022 after being hospitalized for covid. I received excellent care from the nursing department, cnas and nurses. The therapy department is the reason for my being back to my normality today. When I was there, they were having some issues with the dietary department but the nursing staff saw that we had our meals and any extras we needed. I would recomment your facility to anyone needing skilled nursing or a place to live.

Worst experience ever!! Both mom and dad were in this facility. Mom needed much care. She would be left in her poop explosions for great lengths of time. Many of the employees look and act stressed or like they hate being there. They would turn mom’s thermostat down very cold while they were changing her bed. They would leave it down and she would be freezing. Oftentimes they did not have time to feed her. They would throw very dirty linens on the nice loveseats we had in the room. She would go weeks without getting showered. Resident across the hall would be left sitting on the toilet for well over an hour with her call light going off that entire time. My dad got up in the middle of the night because he could hear the resident across the hall moaning for a long time. Dad got in his wheelchair and rolled himself down to nurses station and the nurse was sleeping. Dad woke him up and he acted like it was just fine for him to snooze on the job. Sometimes they don’t have time to give meds. MomPassed away and dad moved to assisted living. Due to a medical issue he had to go to woodland SS for rehab. He hated it. He said it was a joke. And the place is utterly filthy and disgusting. Several times in his short / week rehab stay he didn’t receive a meal. There are a handful of nurses/nurse assistants who seem to care. The rest make it known they don’t. Upper management doesn’t follow through with what they say they’re going to do. So not recommend this place!!!
