Troy Manor

The care, love, and attention given to my husband mother, Dona, was amazing at Troy Manor. The food and selections were delicious. We even enjoyed a few meals with her just to taste them. Every staff member we ever saw or encountered was always working hard and we realize it's a hard and thankless job for most of the employees at a skilled nursing facility. We want to thank everyone at Troy Manor for the care they extend to those who need it most.

This place left me laying n urine many soaked nights Ed was the nurse. The aide was sleeping. They stole 2 of my electric wheelchair s when I went to hospital. Then on another out count getting a mri. They stole 4 Christmas presents. They called police on me 4 times. Make n up lies about I had a gun n drugs. Smh at upper staff. Janice cat dee dee and Amy and mindy and Michelle Michaels need to be fired. These people play a good roll when family’s there. The sewers back up onto the floors when it rains. The mold was sick n that place. There was 5 people missing there stuff on one hall in 3 months. The upper staff is pathedic they play a hell of a roll when family’s there. The kitchen I lost 50 pounds n 8 months. Gross food not done or burnt. There always under staffed. I never seen such a joke n one place. Smh pathetic.

My mother was supposed to be a short-term visitor we figured in a couple weeks we would have her recovered from her surgery enough to go home and be with her husband. We started noticing pretty bad things happening number one there was a male nurse named Randy screaming and yelling at her one day and my sister stood behind him in the doorway and listen to him and she told him that my mom is not incoherent and she doesn't have Alzheimer's disease she knows exactly what you're saying to her and you are unprofessional. Mom said she had to use the bathroom number 2 my sister went down the hall told the nurses my mom has to use the bathroom she has to go number two and she says she's got to go pretty bad, it was over 40 minutes later before they showed up to let her use the bathroom 2 Days Later another one of my sisters goes in mom is sitting in her chair naked and has ***** smeared all over her and it is dry. My sister waited for over an hour to talk to an administrator who hit in her office it would not speak to her so she left word that she was going to report them to the state my mother was dead a few hours later and the result was a fall this was a woman that couldn't get out of bed couldn't walk couldn't even pick her own leg up. It's hard to believe is somebody that can't even roll over or move a foot into the Stirrup on a wheelchair can roll out of a bed in a nursing home where they are supposed to be watched over and taken care of. I feel like this place murdered my mom and I see why they don't have a Facebook page because there are a lot of upset people with this facility. Someone needs to take charge and shut this place down they need to put cameras in the rooms the people are unprofessional that are smoking while patients are sitting there suffering it's just a horrible place my mother didn't die as a result of her surgeries and all the stuff she made it through she died as a result of a fall in a place that was supposed to take care of her they couldn't even let her use the bathroom they couldn't even clean her up they couldn't be bothered with her. Don't put your loved one in this place. Rest in peace Judy Mauser

I am giving this facility ome star solely because you are providing my Uncle with shelter. I reside in another state, so I came to visit my family. My Uncle has lived with diabetes his entire life, it has spun out of control and he is now in your facility. Upon entering his room that he pays good money for, I noticed his garbage can full, and smelling of vomit, his cup to urinate in had a crack in it, so it was flowing onto the table next to his bed, his sheets were dirty, and he had no soap in his soap dispenser located next to the sink, which is broken and barely on the wall. Why is this happening!? He doesn't drink coffee, he has requested Orange juice multiple times, and yet, your staff wants to turn a deaf ear and continue to bring him coffee. Is this the best your staff can do? If so, it is unacceptable, and the good people of Troy MO need to stand up and speak up for their loved ones. Shameful nursing facility.
