Villa Pomerado Nursing Care Facility

My mom was there over a year ago after a surgery. She kept getting bed sores, and she had leg sores that needed to be taken care of that they completely disregarded. One Sunday after they gave her a shower they let her bleed all over her bed for hours before soneone took care of her wounds. Like most nursing facilities they are very understaffed on the weekends. When I brought this to the head nurses attention she just got mad. My mom also had to have transportation to dialysis. The office manager gave me a card to take care of the transportation myself. When there was an issue she told the social worker that she never gave me a card. That I wanted to make arrangements, which was a lie. I had never been in that situation and needed help, but never received any except to inform me medicare does not cover transportation to dialysis. Later during her stay my brother got a call that they had to rush her to hospital because she was unresponsive. The lady who spoke to my brother said to him" You better make arrangements ". Meaning for her funeral. My brother was upset by the rude and unsympathetic statement. My mom survived. But the rude staff at this facility still keeps us up at night. The only reason this facilty gets 2 stars is location and nice rooms. But the entire staff from nursing to office is completely unprofessional. I do not recommend this nursing care facilty.
