I recently purchased here. Misleading marketing info expressing all the "amenities" included in the HOA. Buyer beware: most either do not come free, they have fees, or they have waiting lists, i.e. clubs. If you still work, as most don't but some of us do, the classes they have will occur before you even get off work. So they are no benefit to you. HOA has auto increases and are specific in percentage to your SF unit type. Busy body neighbors that have been there 20+ years treat you like you have moved into a dorm and have all eyes on you. It's just ridiculous!

I rented a place here because it was a great value for the money, but it came at a price. I thought moving into a 55 and up community would be quiet, but I knew within two weeks, I had made a mistake. The building is not insulated and you can hear everything! People are so inconsiderate as they slam doors, slam cabinets and don't observe the quiet hours. There's been renovation after renovation and it seems like when one unit is done, another begins. I thought someone was hammering above me and it was my neighbor halfway down the hall doing renovations. People leave their dogs unattended and barking in the unit. My downstairs neighbor has a piano and I can hear it in every room in my unit. Unless you're hard of hearing, you'll hear everything here. I'll be glad when my lease is up!

Used to be a nice place. Now plagued with high-cost maintenance issues: garage springs and rollers ORIGINAL (>55 yrs old), rotten pipes leading to massive leaks/damage, underground parking structures with estimated millions in repairs, and electric panels in each unit >55 yrs old posing fire hazard. Complex having problems getting insurance--more difficult each year. In addition, 2020 saw large increase in crime (huge number of car thefts and break-ins), two shootings, etc. High HOAs with significant yearly increases. Glad to have sold unit--commonly 65-90 units on market at any given time. Some units very nice, remodeled; however, with potential of leaks/downpour from pipes owner/renter can easily end up with an unexpected, costly disaster. Leadership initially was great; not so great anymore. Approximately 100 employees--why? 100% health premiums paid by homeowners--few people enjoy such a privilege. Abuse of HOA funds--is it an HOA or slush fund? Buyer beware.
