For almost a year I have needed left hip replacement, which I finally had at WMC/ Bone & Joint Institute of Franklin, TN. While undergoing therapy at WMC a kind therapy nurse suggested home therapy, because of the dangers of transporting to and from therapy facilities. Amedisys Home Health Care contacted us and set up a therapy schedule of 3 times a week for 4 weeks. Because of the regimen I was able to only need therapy for 2 weeks. Polite and Assistive does not begin to characterize the care I got. There is no doubt that their services will be called on when my wife has a hip replacement soon. The team was prompt, thorough in their record-keeping, and very observant to monitor patient exercising, to ensure correct patient movement during therapy. Warm and yet clinical. Supportive and encouraging.
