Elms Retirement Village

Poor nursing/nursing aid care. My relative has been hospitalized more then once due to dehydration and UTI that went sepsis. This is neglectful. I would think their job would be to ensure residents are consuming enough fluids. They lack in hygiene care of the residents as well.

My father was staying here for rehab. We had nothing but trouble the 21 days he was there. He had problems using the restroom by himself and needed help. He would pull the call light and it would be along time before help would come. One of the staff had an attitude and told him she didn't think he was even trying to help himself. One day I went to visit and he sad his rear was on fire. He said someone put cream on him. I could smell the Ben gay. Yes instead of cream they had used Ben gay on him. I was very upset and told the nurse and she didn't say or do anything. He only had two days left at that point. His room smelled of urine. His room mate was going on the floor. It was horrible.
