Gulf Coast Health and Rehabilitation

My Mother in Law who has been staying with us for 10 years had surgery to remove a tumor off of her brain. As a result she ended up having a stroke! Once discharged from the hospital, she was suppose to do 21 days of Rehabilitation at Gulf Coast Rehab and Nursing home here in Mobile, AL. I had NO idea this is how the facility now looks. The facility is nasty ( my opinion). My mother in law was suppose to stay on the rehab side of the facility but come to find out it was shutdown for renovation. So they placed her on the LTAC side. While there..a resident followed us around and grabbed a hold of my husband..no one came to remove her. My husband said "help me Shadae she has my skin". So I moved her out into the hall. The nurse saw me and instead of coming to get her from me..she started telling me what room to put the resident in as if I was an employee or something ???? Junk was on the floor. The walls in my mother in law room was nasty!! It looked like body fluids or food was on the walls. I wouldn't put my Dog ???? in there!! I removed her from the facility after only 45 minutes. If any of u have relatives there.....get them out!! Zoom in on the pictures for a better idea on how it really looks in there!! One of their LPNs didn't like my review so she harassed me on my social media page. She used obscene and vulgar language. Her name is LaTara Jones Thomas. Stay away from this place!!

Sorry care. Administration is soo nice to get you in there and then you can’t find them. My mother only saw one doctor in 12 days. Staff is rude and yell at each other from one end of the hall to the other. Will never recommend this place.
