If I could give lower star ? I would. Please don't never send your love ones to this facility. The staff, CA, and to upper management don't care about nothing but themselves. The employees their does basically the minimum only there to get a paycheck and not care about the life of human being. My grandma was at this location in Raleigh and because of the care she didn't receive like the basic she's now fighting for her life.

Stay Away. Avoid this place if it all possible. My brother died at PruittHealth in December of 2019. He suffered from neglect and abuse while he was a resident there. Joe's heart stopped right after my wife and I went home from having thanksgiving dinner with him. He had a pneumonia and EMS reported that when they arrived the staff was "joking with one another " while my brother was suffocating on his own mucus. Joe was a Traumatic Brain Injury patient and had very limited use of only one arm. One of the reasons he had a pneumonia was the previous weekend the nurses aide that was assigned to him came to his room at the beginning of the shift when he rang the call bell as he was in distress from being sick and proceeded to yell at him, flail her arms around, took the call bell away and placed it away from the bed where he could not reach it. Nobody came back to the room until the end of the shift. I have the hidden camera video to prove it along with his room being ransacked by another aide right in front of him a couple of nights earlier. Watch out for the night shift here as they take full advantage of the lack of supervision. If you have a loved one that is here you need to get them out of there asap as most likely something very bad will happen to them . There were numerous other problems too many to list here.It will always pain me to know instead of being surrounded by people that cared for him when he passed and I wasn't there for him when he needed me the most, he had a bunch of cold hearted people that were laughing at him as he took his last breaths. Please do not leave your family members alone with these awful people.I tried to get him to another facility but nobody would take him due to he was a medicare patient that required "too much care". The state was called and every time we complained they would come back with the standard ""no deficiencies"" letter. I have sent a letter to Governor Cooper begging for him to help the residents that remain there.

My father was there and I would say his overall care was good. Everyone was helpful. My biggest complaint is with the PT and OT. They worked my dad too hard and caused much pain. He didn't complain because he wanted to go home. When he left, he was in so much pain, and never recovered from the pain from PT and OT. In fact the pain continued to worsen and he is not unable to walk at all. He left there on March 5, 2020. The PT should have checked or found out why he was in so much pain after working with my dad. My dad is in bad shape right now, not that Pruitt is the reason. It is just my dad's physical shape deteriorated and they kept pushing him or did not try to find out why he was in pain. He is in the hospital as of now, Hes been there about a week. Unable to walk. I have seen my three of my dad's roommates at Pruitt being ignored. Since I was not a family member, I couldn't say anything. I felt bad for these three men.

This is the most of the worst!!! It's a shame how the patients are treated in this facility. The VA needs to know what they are paying for. Trust me, I will be sending a letter to everyone I know. They need to send an undercover in their to see how the nurses, cna's and receptionist are doing. You best believe someone will here me. This is so sad. I asked a patient if he was being treated right and he responded NO, not really. That hurts my heart that someone is paying all that money for the worst care. The floors were so dirty with trash swept in the corner. Ridiculous!!!Get your loved ones OUT!!!! You will be happy that you did!!!

My mom is a patient here. If my mom needed something, the clinical staff will take their time. Only one of her nurses communicated & was nice. Some are not friendly.
