Do not send a family member here! If you've been here 2 or more years ago, this is NOT the same quality facility it once was. This facility has a current ZERO rating by area hospitals, and they do not recommend patients to the facility. It is short-staffed, short nursing staff, badly & rudely managed, and the food is subpar. The facility was purchased by a new company a little more than a year ago and, since then, they have cut corners with regards to food quality and nursing. They cannot grasp that good customer service, with quality care, begins with respected, happy employees, & quality food that tastes good, not preprocessed garbage. The current administration is driving the facility into the ground and State has had to be there more than once this year due to complaints and issues. This was once a jewel of a facility. Now it's just a fancy facade covering inept management.

I Do Not Recommend The Club- my 81 year old mother went here to recover after surgery for a broken hip. They released her without contacting the Home Health Company. The visiting nurse and physical therapists had no idea she was released until I called because I was concerned with my mom quick decline and wanted to know when they were coming. The Club released her with diarrhea and within 36 hours after her release she was back in ER with C-diff infection and dehydration.Horrible... some nurses and nurses aides were good, but administration completely dropped the ball. Unacceptable.

This place is a bad as it gets. They are there to collect the insurance money from elderly patients. The administrative people are rude and uncooperative. The staff does not provide proper care to the patient. Perfect example they are supposed to dress the wound every day and they said they don't do it until nighttime yet its not done the next morning. Had to it get the call nurse to get it done. They were supposed to set up the appointment with the surgeon, not done. Took one phone call when we did it. After almost 3 weeks we finally got the physical therapy report. After that happened and we pull her from the place that morning. They were very uncooperative and my mother will receive care at home we set up. This place needs to be shutdown for the care they provide. I would give this place no stars if you could. Read reviews before making a choice. My father didn't, he went by overall review. But there just as many poor reviews as good so it averages a 3.5.Do your home work. Even some of there staff doesn't like the care provided. They say theyare short staffed. Then don't fill as manybed and provide proper care. Thats why I say they want money not good care. Place is bad bad bad!I am adding to this review. That afternoon we check her out this happened. We checked my mother out of this place properly the sheriff's showed up at the house. They were sent by the Dr at the facility to supposedly to check on her. Really did he think we kidnapped her. Did he think to check with the staff? Charge nurse Was? Was he covering his butt? Was he trying to get her back for the insurance money? Maybe he should have checked on her when she was there and provide proper care. Run from this place. This shows the communication and care they provide. Poor excuse for a rehab facility! I am done! Nice place but no one cares. To bad!

My dad went here last Sunday 3/15/20. He was recovering from pneumonia and needed to regain strength and lung capacity. By Thursday my dad had lost 6 lbs because he was not eating. By Friday he was so dehydrated that he spiked a fever. Friday night he was removed by ambulanceIn the ER he was treated for severe dehydration along with malnutrition. The Club made no attempt to rehabilitate him. They starved him and almost killed him.

Went to visit my friend last week and was greeted by friendly staff into a beautiful building. Everyone was nice and even invited me to join in on a cookout the administrators were working on for employees and residents. Everyone, including the boss was active & attentive. Seems like a great place.

I was admitted to The Club Health and Rehabilitation Center at the Villages on February 25, 2018 from Leesburg Regional Medical Center, due to Acute Epidemic Vertigo. The facility was supposed to treat me for the vertigo but did not; they worked on everything else but the vertigo while I was there - the vertigo and balance was only worked on a couple of times by two different therapist and after that, nothing. They knew I had severe food allergies and was allergic to wheat, gluten, soy, and a variety of other foods and the Representative, Sue, who visited me in the hospital, told me they could accommodate me with my food; but they did not until the last couple of days before I left the facility. I lost about 11 pounds because I was not getting enough food and for two days, March 7 and 8, I did not eat lunch or dinner because the chicken was raw (half cooked) and they never replaced it. On March 8th, I did not eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner because at breakfast, they sent me eggs with bread which I am allergic to the bread; sent it back andThe they sent more eggs with brown looking meat in it - could not eat either and the lunch and dinner had raw chicken breast. I complained to the kitchen manager Sandy who did nothing and was very rude and I complained to the other cook Tasha and she went to Publix and got me ham, crackers, juice, and almond milk - other people was bringing this in for me and this is what I ate and yogurt, the whole while I was there. I complained also to the Director of Nursing, Kelly, about the food and to the Administrator, Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith was the only one who asked what I ate at home and got the items from Publix and had the cook Richard cook it for me - this was that Friday when they told me I was leaving that Monday. They put me out because I was complaining about the food and therapy and after they got money from Medicare and said that I was fine; I was not fine and told them I was still dizzy and the therapist had not done what they
