The Connecticut Hospice

My father was a patient at Hospice in Branford. I became displeased with the care he was receiving or not receiving. He had Limited ability and simple things like assisting home in filling out his menu became an issue. One day he stated he had not eaten breakfast or lunch that day and he asked for Lobster bisque soup. I complied and went out and brought him soup and staff made a huge commotion because a staff member had a shell fish allergy. I was making plans to move my Dad back to Branford Hills, and he passed away before that could happen. Staff members were not very empathetic toward myself and my family. After my father died, the charge nurse seemed more concerned about the shellfish incident three days prior and our phone conversation was irritating and not at all compassionate.
