Arbors at Stow Maison Ainé

If I could go back and do things differently, I would have placed my dad elsewhere. Moved my dad into arbors at stow a year ago. Although it didn’t look very clean or smell the greatest, it was close to my home and came recommended (not sure why). A year ago my dad knew who I was. He could walk, talk and eat. He’s been gone now for over a month. Multiple items went missing over the short time he was there, including a flat screen TV. Felt like we weren’t always kept up to date in the rapid decline he went through, especially given the restrictions on visiting. Within HOURS of my dad passing all his belongings were already boxed and ready for pick up, which made us feel like he was nothing more then a number.

If I could give a zero, I would. Stay away from this place if you have loved ones you care about. It is disturbing. My 75 year old father laid in the same urine soaked diaper, in the same wet bed sheets for 2 days-sleeping. Nofood and no water for almost 2 days. They kept giving him insulin without checking his sugar. His sugar was 42 when we demanded they check it. He acquired Covid from possibly a worker (but they said residents have it too) Please do not think I am disgruntle and trying to cause problems with the facility- I am WARNING you stay away from this place. After demanding they transport him to ER, we found out he has pneumonia, dehydration, bedsores, and low potassium. If we would have left him there another day, he might not be alive.
